Description: The fifth edition of this pharmacology review will be loved by visual learners. The pictures have been perfected and the presentations of drugs are up to date and factually correct.
Purpose: The book is designed to enable students to quickly review, assimilate, and integrate large amounts of critical and complex information on drugs with the aid of well-designed illustrations. This book has received strong acceptance since its inception in 1992.
Audience: Any students who have to master pharmacology for their curriculum and/or certification exams will rate this book near the top when compared to the many excellent pharmacology resources available to them. Visual learners will always select this book over the others.
Features: Content is presented according to the organization found in most traditional pharmacology textbooks. The strong features of this book include the well-written outline format, superb annotated full-color illustrations, reasonable review questions, good chapter overviews and summaries, treatment guidelines, cross-references, and access via a PIN number to an accompanying website that provides access to the book in a fully searchable online format, PowerPoint presentations of figures for faculty, and, of course, a question bank that students preparing for exams will want to use.
