Not even an appearance on Mariah Carey's Charmbracelet was able to squelch anticipation for Freeway's 2003 Roc-A-Fella debut. With his hustling put on ice, Freeway delivers a strong album that should lay to rest the speculation that his unique vocal style -- alternating between a scratchy crack and an anything-but-gruff shout, filtered through a consistently high pitch -- would have difficulty remaining tolerable across a full album. Although his experience on the streets is tempered by his Muslim roots, the rough edges are never compromised.     The Roc's Finest

    This album, by one of the most unique rap artisto out of N.Y., is well over due. This album will definately put "Freeway" on the map.

    this artist from PHILADELPHIA has done it like no other rocafellian. def. the best of the crew.

    king of philly

    I think this is the hottest album since his label mate Jay z came out with The Blueprint 1. So go cop dat album it wont be a waste of money cause every track is banging.Put it like this you could just let it ride through the whole cd without turning.

    This ablum was so good that I had to go out and buy it. I give him between 2-3 weeks to start shining. Anyone who think otherwise must be crazy!!!
