Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - BriAnne Baxley MLIS
From the Disney TV series Phineas and Ferb, the fun loving characters are now found on the pages of a graphic novel. With summer vacation ahead of them Phineas and Ferb have plans to do everything on their summer to do list with their first stop being the Museum of Natural History. When the boys encounter a time machine they are taken back to the Jurassic period with their sister, Candace, unwilling at their sides. When the time machine breaks the trio is unsure if they can make it back to their family and the current year in which they came from. With the adventures of time travel occupying the young boys' time, Perry, the beloved family pet, finds himself with problems of his own. With these well-known characters, readers are able to easily connect while allowing non-readers to find a common thread from their television show to a book. Based on the series created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh. Reviewer: BriAnne Baxley, MLIS
