Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Joella Peterson
Phineas and Ferb, the stars of the Disney cartoon of the same name, have created a Guide to Life. Readers can not only love the two comic inserts, they can learn all sorts of helpful things. For example in one "How to's" section it tells the way to clean Mount Rushmore: "With a toothbrush...and a lot of time." In the "Life Advice" section it has boxes to fill in when setting a record for certain activities such as furthest-thrown paper airplane; most jumps, jumping on one foot; most books balanced on head; etc. There are also loads of places to draw, fill-in-the-blank for stories, or quizzes. Mostly this is a Phineas and Ferb book of laughter and comedy that will hopefully get people thinking about "life" (or the cartoons where many of these random ideas probably came from). With black and white illustrations on every page (mostly they are small drawings of the cartoon characters) and loads of blank space for readers to add their own style (words, pictures, doodles), readers who like books that aren't books that have to be read in one sitting will love this, especially if they love Phineas and Ferb (or just Perry the platypus). Awesome and Hillarious!

Now here's a book that I would recomend for kids and grown-ups who love the series. From parodies to the slapstick humor from the creators Dan and "Swampy", Phineas and Ferb will always bring the jokes and humor right at your favorite couch if their sister Candace is already reading a book and sitting in you`re favorite couch trying to bust them or Dr. Doofenshmirtz whose trying take over the bookcase when his plans are foiled by Perry the Platypus (Agent P).
