Good but Long....................................................... I'm a big Alice Duncan / Emma Craig fan .   That said the book was a little long. I wouldn't say this was one of her best works.   Some unneeded characters .  Some parts of the story didn't bare repeating.  Still the story of a displaced southern belle and an ex union soldier was well written and well done.

I totally loved this book and recommend this author. I was at first worried it was going to drag on because it was long but it was totally worth my time. I was so enchanted with the characters zI read it in one day. Great Read!
