Since everyone else is just posting ridiculous complaints...These books are meant for young children learning to read. They are very simple. They focus on one sound per book at first and then maybe two or three in the later books. They are fairly similar to the BOB learn to read books, which are fantastic. The Barbie ones have the added benefit of catching a child's attention, if they like Barbie.

Robert Robinson had never been the sharpest knife in the box. The thing was though, he could smell trouble like other people could smell gas. And as soon as he turned to head home, he knew he'd turned too early. He was supposed to have turned two blocks later.
His dress shoes clomped on the pavement as his choppy brown hair bounced. His hat almost fell off his hat, so he put a hand up to steady it. He wore a nice black suit with dress pantsm
He could sense them coming. This was it. He whimpered in fear as a group of four men turned onto the street. It was a dark alkeyway with a flickering streetlight limping over the road. A plain brick wall chopped the road in half, a clear dead end. Graffiti was smeared along the wall, the heavy rain maiing the paint slip down the sides.
The four men walked towards Robert, their heavy machine guns swinging as they walked in unison, black suit and tie, dark dress pants. They each had the same face, eyes locked on their target, mouth closed, their muscles relaxed like they did this every day.
"What's your name?"
Robert whimpered.
"I'll shoot," the man in the center of the four men threarened.
"I already knew you were going to shoot me. Why would you be carrying guns, then?" Robert said, scared to death.
"Listen, kid. We got limited time here. Tell us your name or you'll be dead as quick as a d-"
Red and blue flashed behind the men, sirens wailing.
"Men, scram!" They ran out of the alleyway and down the street, cop cars trailing behind.
Robert Robinson remembered only one thing, the name sown in cursive on the center man's suit jacket. The Phobia.
Hope you liked it! That was the first chapter so if you enjoyed it, please rate it out of five stars (using the star rating) and either use constructive critisism or any other type of comment. Three positive comments telling me to wriite more fo next chapter! Thanks so much for reading and I will (maybe) see you next time!
Signing out &#9579&alpha&psi&kappa
