    Good book for those new to photography

    I'm not entirely new to photography, but I've found that sometimes my creative well runs a little dry and I was looking for ways to be more creative. This book definitely helps. A lot of the information I already knew, but some of it helped me to think outside the box. I wasn't really impressed with a lot of photos in the book, but the author states that all the photos in the book were made with affordable cameras (which is the point of this book - you don't need expensive equipment to take good pictures). I liked the tips on DIY lighting; it saved me a lot of money and I was able to get studio shots without being in the studio. If you don't want to buy the book, do yourself a favor and read it while you're in the store and take notes; there is a lot of good info in this book.
