    A reviewer

It's a great read with illistrations on some really spectacular photographs. This book goes from portraiture 'old and new' to glamour/nude photography. It doesn't get into some really nit picky stuff some people desire. But it gives the overall idea of how the photograph was done. I has a diagram for all of the photos with light placement. I does not tell you the power of each light of anything. You have to figure out exposures as far as the lights are concerned. But it does let you know the aperture and shutter speed of the vast majority of shots. Well worth the money.
