Truly a start to finish education. Jennifer starts at the beginning with camera basics. Then moves onto how to interact with individual age groups. Next she has several chapters covering everything that goes into making a great portrait including editing tips. There are also several one page sidebars from other photographers helping to round out the information. Oh and did I mention there is literally a photo on each page of this book showing just what is being talked about? It is an excellent book especially if you're a beginner.

Like all of Jennifer's books, this book is written for a wide au

Like all of Jennifer's books, this book is written for a wide audience. As an amateur, I really appreciate how this book addresses many levels of photographic talent. The book incorporates readability while not sacrficing the quality of the instruction. The content is practical for anyone, but, at least from my perspective, still seems sophisticated enough to help someone with advanced skills. I look forward to using this book as I continue to grow as a photographer.
