I am an intermediate user. I found, like with most of the Bible books, this one too gets into the functions of the program but does not give many examples. I was disappointed after getting it home. I'm now ordering classroom in a book and returning this one.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I am a beginner with photoshop and was hoping for more tutorials and some actual source files on the cd. I learned a lot about photoshop from this book, but would have learned a lot more, a lot faster with hands on tutorials and less long winded explainations. If he would have taken out the attempts at comedy he would have had plenty of blank space for hands on tutorials I think this would be a good reference book, but as far as learning actual techniques I am gonna have to look at some other books for that. Was this review helpful? I am an advanced Photoshop user and this book really explained alot of things to me that you must know. It has very detailed explanations of how to use Photoshop filled with a whole sections of color pictures. This book is a must have. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Of all the self learning books I have read, this is by far the most tedious. The author spends more time on his attemts at humor than on tips for learning Photoshop. I am an advanced user (career in technology) and actually for the first time, found the on-line documentation more helpful than a third party book. Look elsewhere. Was this review helpful?
