I guess I'm dumber than dumb

I was new to Photoshop. I thought the book would get me started with the basics. It didn't. It assumes a lot of knowledge. I would have preferred something that had step-by-step directions for a newbie. This book is 700 pages long but doesn't teach the basics.

This is for people who have some photoshop experience

It may be called photoshop cs5 for "dummies", but as it says on page 15 (in the ebook),

"This book is written for the person who has a good grasp of using a computer and navigating the operating system and at least a cursory knowledge of Photoshop."

If you are one of the persons described above, this book is for you.
