    Clear and Comprehensive

There is tremendous range of coverage here, with useful assistance for beginners as well as tips that may enlighten experienced users. The book is very well organized and easy to use. Unlike other PhotoShop books I have seen, which go through the menu items and tell you what each command accomplishes (which is seldom informative), this one is organized around the tasks you'd like to accomplish, and then tells how how to carry them out. It's the best book on PhotoShop I've seen.

    I Also Recommend:

    Don't bother!!!!!!!

After doing some research on line to shorten the list of Elements 7 help aids I bought this one as it was listed as most comprehensive and easy to understand. I always thought I had a fairly good command of the English language but this monster of a book was practically incomprehensible! If you knew what they were talking about it would probably be okay but then you wouldn't need the book, would you? I did better experimenting on my own then trying to follow the vague and confusing directions. After 3 days and my project deadline looming I gave up and returned the book and picked up a copy of Elements 7 for Dummies. Go ahead and laugh but with clear concise directions in English instead of "technese" I finished my project with stunning results in 10 hours. At $45 this book is a major rip off and only good as a door stop or kitty litter. Don't bother.

    Great as a textbook

I find this as useful as any of the enclosed material that came packaged with the software. This gives an expanded view of the Photoshop Element software
