    A Must Read!

As a graduate student I found this text incredibly helpful to gaining a comprehensive understanding of the important role of exercise in preventing or treating diabetes, obesity and heart disease.

Each chapter is organized logically and is written in a language that allows for an in depth and yet easy to understand discussion of the concepts surrounding the interaction of exercise and heart disease prevention.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to gain a greater understanding of the vital role exercise plays in preventive medicine.
