    Great text!

Wonderful textbook, but this should be offered as an eTextbook.

    Great book...but not my favorite

I really enjoyed this book. I refer to it sometimes for anatomy and biomechanics. For physical exam, I still prefer Pocket to Musculoskeletal Diagnosis, which has much better pictures and tips on history and management. But this book was very helpful, especially with palpatory anatomy.

I have no bones to pick with this book.

Get it if you are looking for a good reference book to put on your desk that tells you how to locate various anatomical parts of the body (bones, ligaments, muscles, boney landmarks, various nerves and vessels too). Good pictures and clear explanations make this book a classic.

Doesn't collect dust on my desk!

I think of this book as a 'map' of the spine and extremities. Like a map, this book tells you where you are at as you palpate the various anatomical structures. It's been out for awhile, but there is actually some published research using cadavers on the accuracy of palpating certain structures that backs up some of the info in this book. All in all, it's easy to navigate through, has great pictures and a great reference you'll find yourself referring to time and again (especially those structures you may not palpate everyday and easily forget like the carpal bones).

    Exeptional exam book

This book has all the special tests and procedures that you will need when doing an examination of the spine or extremities. When in doubt, turn to this book first!
