Best PM&R book for its value

I am a PM&R resident at UCLA and I fell in love with this little book ever since one of its authors gave me a copy of the preliminary version. I carry it around with me all the time, which is its greatest strength--it is portable. I dare anyone to try lugging Braddom or DeLisa around when they are on an outing. Being in LA, there are long lines everywhere, from the Dept of Motor Vehicle to the lunch line at the local McDonald's. When I am in such a situation, I whip my Pockepedia out from my shirt pocket and read a page or two. I cannot thank the authors enough for their work on this book. It has literally changed my life and has allowed me to become a better doc. If you don't have this book, you are missing out.

    Good companion

If you are a resident and you don't know anything about a topic, or you have forgotten some basic information about a PM&R discipline, it will serve you well. Not good to rely on for main source of knowledge. It has good illustrations to help you learn the basics. Will require improvement in index, more in depth TBI/Stroke as well as pain management section. Certainly this pocket book is the first in this series and worth having.

Good one minute review but needs some improvements

By no means it is comprehensive, but is is a good source for the times you don't remember anything from a topic. Good idea for residents to carry around. Needs better index, more detailed TBI / CVA /Peds portions. Overall I think needs some work but they are on the right trackt.
