If you purchase the "e-version" for your reader, the formulas are so small that you can't see them. The information was a good foundation for physics, and I would recommend the book. The e-version is lacking without being able to see the formulas.

I bought the paperback versions of "Physics 1 for Dummies" and "Physics 2 for Dummies" to brush up on 1st year college physics to help my son prepare for the AP exams. These are much better books than the "AP Physics B Crash Course" -- far fewer mistakes in the text and equations, much clearer explanations of the material, and a writing style that points out that physics can be both fun and interesting.

The book is a good start to study physics but the formulas are so small they are unreadable even if the font is enlarged to the maximum
