I bought a piano for my kids last year, and after hearing them play, I finally got up the courage to try it out myself. After searching through a number of books, I found Piano Pieces for Adult Beginners was just the ticket to help me learn! The layout is very clear and easy enough for a beginner like me to follow without any difficulties at all, and the selections included some of my favorite pieces. After only three months I found myself playing almost as well as my adult friends who've been at it for years. Thank you Amy, for this wonderful book. It really gave me the confidence and know-how to follow my dream!

The music in this book is satisfactory and appropriate for adult beginners. The problem is that the book is so thick and tightly bound that it is impossible to open and rest it on a music stand, without use of many clips, etc. to hold it open. Even then, it tends to close itself all the time. An inquiry to the publisher as to how it could be used went unanswered. Very disappointed!

This was a great book since I am just learning piano. It is a very down to earth book that as a starting musician I found very easy to work with.
