A wonderful, clever, creative fairy tale I loved as a child!

My siblings and I LOVED this clever and creative book so much as children 30 years ago that I desperately wanted my own copy as an adult and was so disappointed to find that it was long out of print. I ended up paying over $75 for a copy on Ebay (there turned out to be a LOT of people who loved this book as much as we had and were willing to bid a lot of money for a copy!). Now, two years later, I see that some smart publishing company has decided to re-publish this book for a new generation. I wish I hadn't spent all that money on Ebay, but now I am going to buy 3 or 4 new copies for my nieces and nephews. They deserve to experience this great book just like we did 30 years ago!

There are so many great children's books out there but this will

There are so many great children's books out there but this will probably always be my favorite. My sister and I always loved reading this story together (that was 20+ years ago) now I love reading it to my children. It has such a wonderful message of kindness but it is also lots of fun.

    Oh My Gosh!!!

I love this book! I am lucky enough to have this book signed by Jolly Roger Bradfield as well as the Very Thirsty Camel. Both books belonged to two of my brothers and for some reason I got a hold of them and never let them go. Just thinking about the book brings back so many great childhood memories.

If you haven't read it...it's a must and your children will love it too.

    A Book For Generations

I was 6 years old when I found this book at my school Book Fair. That was 40 years ago. I have read this classic fairytale to my children and now to my grandchildren. Pickle Chiffon Pie teaches us that its O.K. to be different. Children love the colorful illustrations. Enjoy a slice!
