    The Picture Bible

My wife has an old one and it is coming apart and loosing pages. We enjoy it very much, I looked in several places and found the Picture Bible here in this site. My wife enjoyed getting it as a Christmas present but I would recommend it at any time.

    Highly Recommended

The Picture Bible is written in "comic book" style. Great for an overview of the bible for both young and old. Very true to the text.

    The Picture Bible

Perfect bible for 8 year old boys or girls! The stories are explained in a fun way for kids to absorb the material. The pictures remind me of comics.

The most read bible in my house!!!

I gave this bible to my daughter when she was eight, and couldn't get her to put it down for weeks! Even today (she's 12 now) she won't let it go easily. But don't get the idea this is just a 'kiddie' book. The Picture Bible is the ENTIRE bible in high-level comic book form, with challenging language and realistic artwork. Each story is only four pages long, so you can stop at any point or keep reading for hours, like my daughter did, even by flashlight at night after bedtime. Other parents to whom I showed this bible promptly went out and got copies for their own children. How refreshing it is to find a way to teach the bible to young people, that they embrace so very enthusiastically.
