Overview

Pier 77 is where losers are taken to be killed and dumped into the river. The tug of war to control New York City reached its bloody zenith in the early 1990’s. The Italian Mafia, all powerful back then, even controlled the predominately Irish West Side, known as “Hell’s Kitchen.” Kevin “House” Gerrard and his partner, Brian Corbin, who eventually leaves the streets to become a priest, decide to take back the West Side. The Mafia sends two men to kill House. He kills one and chases the other away. But House is put on trial and spends five years in prison. As prison will do, it breaks him down and he feels he is no longer the street tough that he once was, but his work and the fear of him, has brought peace between the two groups. One night, at a Greenwich Village party, House meets a gorgeous girl, Schuyler, and falls madly in love. At a madam’s dinner party on the Upper East Side, the madam and her pimp want Schuyler to work for them. House says definitely not. However behind his back, Schuyler takes over the madam’s business. When House threatens to leave Schuyler, she says she will be killed unless he protects her. The madam’s pimp challenges House and ends up at Pier 77. So does the Madam. House is neither cut out for the call girl business or the wealthy East Side, so he returns to the Kitchen. And soon learns that all is not forgiven and there are still others out to attack him.
