Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Uma Krishnaswami
Here, in the brisk prose we have come to expect from King-Smith, is a whole barnyard world-the Squire, whose back gets scratched by the Pigman; the Pigman, whose club is ever at the ready for the little dog; the little dog, surrounded by a society of squealing, squalling sows; the little dog with the funny feet, who is the real hero of this tale. A rollicking story that will leave readers convinced that pigs might indeed fly. And "Dratyer! Dangyer! and Blastyer!" if yer don't believe it.

This was a fun, funny story I really liked! Daggi is a runt who wants to fly. His mom loves him sooooo much she protects him and lets him have fun. I would recommend this book to all kids who like animals and have felt like runt. Go Daggi!

This book was absolutly amazing. Who ever wrote this book has good creativity. My BEST friend aboulutley LOVES pigs. I recommended it to her, and she LOVED it. The only thing I didn't like, was that the pig didn 't really fly, he was just hooked on to a . . . well I don't want to ruined it for you. But otherwise, It was a pretty awesome book.

This book was a very interesting and suspenseful book. But at times it wasn't incredibly interesting.I would recomend this to someone who has an open mind and creative thinking because its more of a fantasy book with a lot of pigs in it!

Pigs Might Fly is one of the most thrilling books I have read. This would be an especially thrilling book for a person who loves little pigs. In this book there are happy, sad, funny, and cruel parts. Any person that enjoys humor and animal books would like fiction stories written by Dick King-Smith. If so then get reading his books!
