great for pilates lovers...New or tried and true!

The cards travel well alone or with the rest of the items. It's well explained and illustrated, effectively encouraging you to remember the most important concepts of the moves. I really am glad I have it for those times I don't make a class or when there's not one when I need it. Great CD's too! The journal comes in handy as well...

    Big Disappointment

I was under the impression the CDs were audio and video showing the various movements. I don't find listening to audio very helpful at all. This should have been made clear on the product synopsis. The teeny-tiny workbook and flashcards are a duplicate of 'The Pilates Body' book also by Brooke Siler. I definitely did not need to purchase both.

    Excellent

I use the second disk regularly as a supplement to classes in an authentic Pilates studio. It follows the pace of an actual mat class and, when done correctly, really makes a difference in body strength and tone.

The Best Home Workout I have found yet.

This is cd product, which I was nervous about at first, but it is great because I actually concentrate on myself, rather than watch the tv, plus there are easy to follow cards that explain each of the moves. She walks you through the moves so you get them down. Then on a seperate track she has both beginner and intermediate classes, that go at a speed where you feel like you are really exersizing, but not so fast that you get lost. Because the classes are seperate, you can use the cds over and over, without getting tired of hearing the explinations. During the classes she is great about reminding you about what to concentrate on and motivating you.
