Both the older Primer and the revised edition, Pilates Evolution, contain the only authorized copies of the Library of Congress books originally written by Joseph Pilates in 1934 and 1945.

This book is a valuable piece of history. Absolutely necessary and fascinating to the pilates instructor or intermediate-advanced enthusiast. Those who are new to pilates will prefer books by Brooke Siler or Alycea Ungaro.

Joseph Pilates was an ingenious man, and I have lost a great deal of weight, as well as becoming toned and feeling great.

Sometimes life changes take time and patience. Pilates is a terrific way to get in shape but not recommended for an obese user. Once you have changed your eating habits, not by diets but lifestyle change. Try this method. It will change your life. Dr Atkins fails to give you information on the risks involved with his diet. I advise you to read up on that!

it blowed becuase it wont show you massive heart ripping techniques, and now I am completly pissed off, and I will have to drop the Pilates fitness plan, and move on to the Atkins
