    Good Start for Kids

    We won this book as a prize somewhere, and we've had a lot of fun with it. Every once in a while, my four year old will pull out her cookbook and pick out something she wants to make. This weekend it was the bunny pancakes. They turned out so cute and she was able to cut them and decorate them. I, of course, cooked the pancakes. We don't use a lot of convenience foods in our house and the recipes call for many of them 'as you'd expect from a cookbook by Pillsbury'. For example, the pancake recipe called for frozen pancakes. We made our own and my daughter had an even better experience by measuring the flour, etc. Plus, honey whole wheat pancakes are much healthier than those frozen pancakes. That said, it's very easy to get around the convenience foods by making your own. This book is a great introduction to the kitchen and the photos of the creations really get kids excited about cooking and baking.

    Great Cookbook!

    Very good cookbook and easy to follow. I bought this cookbook for my 11 year old son for Christmas and we started cooking right away. A lot of the recipes have ingredients you already have at home.

    boys love to cook too

    Combined with the Chef deluxe set; set the mood for hours of fun. In todays busy world you have to make the most out of every minute, even in the kitchen.

    This looks awsome

    I haven't gotten this book, yet, but it looks pretty cool. I would REALLY want to make the smoothie on the front of the cover. Plus, this is the only cookbook I could find that didn't have some weird cartoon on the cover. Since I'm 12, I'm trying to find a cookbook that has things that people my age would like, and this is the best result. I just hope this isn't one of those cookbooks that give you weird foods, like, bluberry quesadias, EWWWWWWW!!!!! Anyway, this thing looks pretty cool.
