Beautifully done with clear-cut text, enhanced by great color illustrations and graphs, providing all the basic know-how about aeronautics and flight stuff; from general aircraft mechanics, through aerodynamics, weather patterns and their impact on flights and way beyond. Highly recommended...

As a commercial aircraft mechanic I thought the information in the book was extremely useful for my understanding of aircraft systems both with small propeller driven to large jet aircraft. The section on flight instruments was of particular interest to me and presented in a manner that was EZ to understand.

This book has a tremendous amount of information in it. I enjoyed the breakdowns of terms I've heard before but never knew what they really were - until now. Great diagrams, easy to read and a must have for anyone considering flying someday. Details everything from flight instruments and airborne medical situations to look out for to airfield operations and general flight principles. I bought it to buff up on my aircraft lingo and beef up my aviation library. Well worth it!

This hefty book contains everything a pilot needs to know, either at the amateur or professional level. It truly is encyclopedic and it's loaded with illustrations. If you're a pilot or an aeronautical buff, this guide is definitely a must-own.
