Overview

When Bill O'Reilly interviewed then-Senator Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential elections, the two had a lively debate about the nation's future.

Since that time, America has changed rapidly—some would even say seismically. And many believe these shifts are doing more than just rocking the political and social climate; they're rocking the American core.

What are these changes? Who, in addition to President Obama, have been the biggest forces behind them? What exactly do they mean for you, the everyday American citizen? How are they affecting your money, health, safety, freedom, and standing in this nation? Which are Pinheaded moves and which are truly Patriotic? In his latest spirited book, O'Reilly prompts further debate with the President and the American people on the current state of the union.

After five consecutive, no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is megabestsellers, you can count on Bill to offer blunt and constructive political commentary. And as he did in his popular memoir, he offers some introspection too, looking back at his own actions and those of past Pinheads and Patriots who have inspired a code of conduct for such taxing times.

As always, O'Reilly is fair, balanced, and uncompromisingly tough when guarding the American way. Only Pinheads would fail to fight for what they love most about this country or to embrace some measure of change to make it better. The rest of us Patriots will read this book to discover the difference between the two.

I find it disturbing that the other reviews so far put the book down, when it came out today. Obviously, they haven't read the book. And some of them admit it!!!! Pinheads?

Negative reviews posted before or on the day the book is released? Have any of these previous reviewers actually read the book. They speak of fair and balanced but don't practice in their own actions. I'm curious if they actually watch the author on tv and develop their own anger-or rather derive it from the words of other tv show hosts. Advice from hypocrites...

Telling it like it is, facts or ones opinion, has never been popular with those who's agenda runs contrary to what America is really about. But snearing, dismissive, rabidly marginalizing reviews or disingenuous sound bites are expected from these folks. Those tactics won't work any more on the American public. Bill O'Reilly is a breath of fresh air. Americans have always appreciated this books candor and the exposure of duplicity.

Just finished reading P&P on my nook. Bill O'Reilly gives his no nonsense look into different people who effect our lives. I like how Bill gives his opinion whether you agree or not and how he sees it. Sometimes in this world of far left and far right it is nice to hear some thoughts towards the middle. I don't always agree with Bill's views but for righting this book he is for sure a PATRIOT !

I love his honesty! He gives a great and intresting perspective on people along with political and non polictical ideas. He was fairly right on when it came to tech. I feel he was also fair. The transition between opinion and fact was very clear and smooth.

I have enjoyed Bill's show The Factor for several years now, especially his segment "Pinheads and Patriots." When I found out about this book I was thinking though I enjoy the brief segment each night, could he deliver a book that was as good. The answer is yes! What I really enjoyed about the book is that Bill explains that people can be both pinheads and patriots, meaning we all do noble and sometimes foolish things during our lifetime. It is the overall sum of what we do that gives us the overall label. Bill uses both current figures (political and otherwise) as well as famous people in history and lets us know what they did for heartfelt reasons (patriot) and for selfish or stupid reasons (pinhead). He gives us a lot of insights and several presidents including copies of historical documents and letters. There is an interesting letter from President Eisenhower practically calling Robert Kennedy a "pinhead." Bill can't fathom why and goes on to defend why Kennedy was a "patriot." Bill distinguishes personal life issues(like Tiger Woods) from what people actually did for the public and humanity in coming up with his definition. Other interesting letters include one from Teddy Roosevelt being very critical of Woodrow Wilson. I highly enjoyed this book and my only criticisms are that it was too short and also, Bill includes the text of his Obama interviews which I had already seen and could probably have gotten copies of elsewhere.

Only Bill O'Reilly can keep it going like this! He holds back nothing to let you know the TRUE facts. Don't miss reading this one. Our stuttering president showed America what he sounds like with out his tele prompter.
