Overview

Pink Floyd’s blend of rock, blues, jazz, classical, and ambient music with dazzling multimedia effects ranks them as one of the world's greatest bands whose influence is still felt today. Their high-concept, operatic albums were ambitious and original, and their concerts forever changed the nature of live performance.

However, it is probably fair to say that Pink Floyd’s music enjoyed a higher profile than the band members themselves. Preferring to make music rather than headlines, this rather elusive group avoided the public eye, unlike many of their more starry-eyed contemporaries. Pink Floyd Revealed tells the extraordinary story of how a rather ordinary psychedelic band managed to become something different, ending up with spectacular sold-out arena shows and multi-million-dollar selling albums. Find out more about Syd Barrett, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Roger Waters, and Richard Wright, their albums, movie soundtracks, side-projects and reunions, and accompany them on a journey from their earliest days in Cambridge to rock legend status.
