Pip, Son of Bratt
Bratt steps back whilst his son, Pip, now takes centre stage. Just like his father, he is impulsive and impatient but under Titas s tutelage, his mantra is, to never give up, even if he breaks a leg! A leap of faith considering his obsession with building his own, very, very, high Flying Fox, and his own performance perfection. He did break a leg! Did that stop him? No! Did a menacing bully stop him? No! In fact, through his determination to build even bigger, better, and age-appropriate Flying Foxes, and his encouragement for his older mentors, Titas and Korse, and his father Bratt to regain excitement from some of their own nearly forgotten risky activities, he manages, unceremoniously, to bring his father Bratt back to his rightful place at centre stage as an adult albeit still in possession of all his natcherly acquired skills. What heartfelt achievements does Pip himself receive as a common denominator among mixed personalities? A little love interest of course and guess what her name is

About the Author

Mary Raymond Black was born in Naracoorte, South Australia in 1946. She successfully completed the four-year Fine Art Sculpture course in 1967 at the South Australian School of Art. She has held one-man exhibitions in welded metal and ceramics drawings in charcoal, pastels, pencil and ink, and abstract acrylic paintings. She has also self-published a book, Girls Only, consisting of 54 fine line, pen and ink drawings of the female form. She has many physical drawings on Saatchi.com and is currently working on digital abstracts. With all these skills combined, she has drifted into a written illustrative narrative which centres around the ever-expanding family of floppy-eared white rabbits, the first of which, in the series, is Riddlington, followed by his son, Aristotle, followed by his son, Titas, and now, Pip, who is the son of, a grandson, a nephew, and cousin, Bratt. The series doesn t stop there of course it just leads to another and another and another 12 in fact!
