Read aloud to my 7 and 10 yr old, they both loved it!

I read this aloud to my 7 yr old son and 10 yr old daughter and we all loved it! This was a wonderful story, lasted several days worth of bedtimes and kept us interested and engaged! Lots of very funny scenes and sweet, tender scenes mixed with adventure. I plan to buy the author's other book and hope to see more from him soon.

    Life has no boundaries!

I love Pirate best of all. His story leads to some very funny situations. All the characters have a good time throughout. The writing is powerful. Pirate shows children that life has no boundaries if you believe in yourself.

B/N needs to put age catagories on these.

For a toddler/young reader this doesn't hold there interest - too long, no pictures

    Cool book

This book was fun to read. It caught my attension because I like to read. Almost every time I'm not doing the dishes I'm reading. This book was about a bird whos name is pirate he meets 3 friends. In their backyard he meets a snake named Tiger. Tiger tries to eat him. On a stormy day he remembers where he came from. He an one of his friends tries to find his home. Along the way they realize Tiger is following them. Tiger bites his friend. Will they find help? Read the book to find out. This book is great for 8 and up.
