A fun, quick read full of history, adventure and friendship.

Since Savannah is one of my favorite places to visit and I'm a history buff this was right up my alley. It's full of historical tidbits, writting that allows you to "see" the scene and the right length to keep it from getting boring or completely absurd. If I had to pick a downside it would be that he worked a little to hard to make the cast of characters "diverse" enough. The plot is unlikely, but for me it was more about the history and the joy of discovering more about a city I love. It's a good series and I think it will hold the interest of both boys and girls in 9-13 age range or even adult parents like me! Enjoy!
