About the Author

Tiên Nguy?n is a senior Creative Writer at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. She is a wordsmith, a Pisces stellium, a lover of matcha crêpe cake, and a future investigative journalist. Tiên is a first-generation Vietnamese American; much of her nonfiction focuses on family dynamics and the struggle with language barriers. Even so, her heart belongs to free verse poetry and drama. There, her writing carries surrealistic storytelling and starry-eyed language. Be it a poem or a play, Tiên is a romantic in all ways.
