Thank you, to The Pope of Pitching

As a Pitching Coach of 13, 14 year olds and High School Pitchers, I cannot say enough about this book. I have been a Brave fan for 30 years, and I have followed closely, Mazzone's success with the Braves' staff over the years. I have applied just about everything from this Book with my Pitchers, and it has worked. It is challenging sometimes to sell the kids on a 'throwing program', but to see the results is amazing. Leo's philosophy is what has sold me, as a Coach, and the best thing about it, is, that it is simple. what Mazzone says is correct, that Pitching 'doesn't have to be a science project'. I would recommend this book for any Caoch who works with Pitchers, and if Leo's success doesn't get you to the bookstore, I don't know what would. Not only does he cover ALL aspects of teaching your Pitchers, but he allows HIS students, such as Glavine, Smoltz, Maddux and all to give us their reasons, why Mazzone's philosophy works. That's 6 Cy Young awards, giving their endorsement on the Mazzone Program. Thanks, Leo, for giving 'this' Coach the tools needed to make my Pitchers better. And, by the way, thanks to Johnny Sain (Leo's Mentor)

Leo Mazzone offers a great, step-by-step guide that makes pitching easy!

When I bought this book, my main idea was to find out how to correctly grip deifferent pitches. Pitch Like a Pro offers photographed grips from Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, and more! It's good to learn from professionals. This book also features the correct way to throw a curve ball using the throw, turn, and pull method, and a throwing program that all the Atlanta Braves pitchers follow and that has made them successful throughout their careers. A must-read for developing young pitchers!
