The day Jackson Kern walks into Taylor Andrews’s classroom is a momentous day in Taylor's life. He's had crushes before, sure, but as time goes on, this is starting to look a whole lot more serious. Still, Jackson doesn’t return Taylor’s feelings.

Taylor has his own admirers, though. Kevin Richards is used to getting what he wants, and what he wants right now is Taylor, so when Taylor rejects him, Kevin retaliates. Taylor and his best friend Benny have been friends since kindergarten. Taylor loves to sketch and hang out with Benny. The moment Jackson walks into the classroom in tenth grade Taylor is smitten.

This is such a beautiful story of friendship, bullying, jealousy and growing up. I absolutely loved this story and all the characters. My heart went out to Taylor form the beginning and I couldn’t put the book down until I was finished to see what would happen. I don’t think anyone could have had a better friend than Benny and I was pleased to see a possible setup for more. I can’t wait.

If you like young adult stories, sweet with a bit of bittersweet mixed in, great friends and a beautiful story with a happy ending this is for you.
