As a Pittsburgher, this book was very enlightening. I will be watching many of the films with a very different perspective. I learned that this area really does have it all, especially tons of local talent, and Hollywood knows it. Thanks John Tiech for your devotion to the history of our Steel City roots and reminding us that Pittsburgh is so much more..

After reading the book, I realized that Pittsburgh has been in the limelight of Hollywood for a long, long time. The pictures, interviews, and the author's noticable search into the film history of the city makes the book a meaningful tribute to Pittsburgh's filmdom.
