Not bad. Not bad at all.

I had to read this book for a work weekly book club of sorts. Needless to say, the circumstances surrounding why I "had" to read this did not make me thrilled to crack open the first page. To my surprise, Pivot turned out to be an easy read that I actually enjoyed reading. What I really appreciate about this book is Alan Zimmerman's direct manner in which he incorporates the spiritual aspect of God. He explicitly states that, although this is not deemed to be a religious book, it is important to acknowledge that a higher power has been and is a crucial part in many people's lives in their quest towards living a positive and successful lifestyle. Over all I ended up finishing the book with a new found respect for Alan Zimmerman. Sure some of the concepts seem obvious, but it never hurts to be reminded of the small things we can do to help improve our own lives. Definitely a great book that is not only worth reading yourself, but sharing with others.
