Pizza

Overview

A golden crust crowned with garden-ripe tomatoes and basil, redolent of garlic, and flavored with fruity extra-virgin olive oil was created in Naples. This oldest documented pizza recipe, shown on the cover, remains as up to date as any of the innovative toppings that reflect the current gourmet status of the humble pie. I Also Recommend:

With this book, you NEVER need to order pizza again...

because you can make better pizza on your own! This book has wonderfully detailed information on how to mix, knead, and rise pizza dough, and how to bake it, and also, MANY variations. For any pizza lover (or even if you think you hate pizza) this is a MUST read!!

    Absolutely wonderful!

I am a commercial photographer, and my husband and I were given an assignment that included making a pizza.
I bought this book, and made the PERFECT pizza! I have used it so much since, that it is wearing out!
All the recipes are awesome! I recommend this book for anyone wishing the same as I did, to make a perfectly delicious and beautiful pizza!

The absolute best Pizza book ever!

By far, this is the best book on Pizza that I have ever seen! I have other books on pizza, some with more recipes, some with less, and some with pictures, some with drawings and pictures. I have made recipes from other books and I have not been pleased with the results, but the recipes in this book were outstanding, especially the Garlic Glazed Chicken. The presentations were magnificent. I work in a restaurant where pizzas are a sideline, so I am always trying to find different ways of making pizza for a lunch special or something like that. After reading this book, I could not wait to get back to work and experiment with all the new ideas inspired by this book. I have tried three recipes from this book at work as a lunch special, all of which have been well received. I would not be least bit afraid to try any of the other recipes in this book. This is the Pizza Bible! James Mcnair also has another book called "New Pizza". which is basically the same, but with some new ideas, and fewer pictures, otherwise every bit as good as this one.
