"This novel is so well written that it transported me to "The Place" and made me wish I was one of the characters and wonder how this world could be id that kind of stuff was possible?" --Claudia "Reading 'The Place' has been a delightful and refreshing experience for me. This book gives a very different perspective on life and the possibilities presented. In a way i have been dreaming of this place, but I had no idea that someone else would have the same vision, so maybe this 'place' actually exists? That would be a dream come true beyond my wildest imagination! A great read that made me desire to read it again and again, and every time I did, there would be more things I would become aware of, that were hiding in the depth of the wonderful language presented in this book." --Suzy

    Ridiculous...

I found this book very difficult to get through. Just too ridiculous. I love to read all kinds of books but this was just too silly.

    A very different place

The story of Jake's journey from doubt and despair to awareness of something different is a story that inspired me to renew my faith in the idea that there really is something more out there for the seekers of life.
Although there is no apparent conflict to be resolved by any of the characters, this story effects a transformation in the key players that is somehow more intense and profound precisely because there is no fighting involved.
This is a very different place; yet it is strangely familiar in that it describes a way of living and being in the world which I always believed was possible even though it had always eluded me.
When Jakes describes the expansion of his world that comes with embracing the possibilities presented by "The Place" I was brought to tears with the sheer joy of it.
This book is peopled with rich characters you grow to know and love and written in a poetic style that evokes all your senses in the descriptions of places and events.
Treat yourself to the journey of a lifetime and visit The Place.

    A Must to read...

Did you ever think that there was a place that was magical and wondrous and caring and nurturing? Wouldn't you love for it to be here and now? When I read this book I had a feeling that it could be a real place. Or even just the possibility of this world being transformed. Wouldn't that be awesome? Maybe the author will let us know where we can find it...
Jump into the story and you to will be transported to that place you've always desired! I highly recommend this book.

Fantastic-fun to explore the extraordinary possibilities with ease joy and glory

The knowing of who we truly are and what is really possible is going to places in a way no other book I have read has done. Once I read this book it is impossible to live the ordinary old way of existing. Life gets a lot more fun when you know this kind of place and interactions with people is truly possible. Most of us have only had scattered experiences like this and then blew them off as extraordinary exceptions. What if this is supposed to be the norm and we have been missing the point of our existence?
