I thought the book was a joke. Maybe there is a market for this type of book, but it was not for me.

This is a very good book that deals with the Amish culture and yes it has spanking in it. The g=husband is a strong man and a good leader and takes care of family the way he has been taught to do. This book has great character developement and is a very good book.

The story provided some insight into the Amish community. I was hoping for some more character interaction to make for a deeper plot

I don't usually read Amish stories but since this was by Nattie Jones, one of my favorite authors, I gave it a try. It was written very well and the story was believable. If you enjoy Nattie Jones and Amish tales, buy this story.
