Until we realize reality can't be avoided. And truth is, we don't want to avoid it.We are a nation of underdogs - a society of hope. Plan C is accepting life as it comes, with no plan at all.
Once upon a time there was a divorced, single mother named Libby Crockett, living and working her fingers to the bone on Cape Cod. Her Plan A had failed, and now she dreamed of a new life and a new love — her Plan B.  And Plan B worked!  It brought her to glamorous New York to a new man, a new life...and his expensive ex, his out-of-control kids, and the biggest recession in 70 years. PLAN C: Chuckle!

We have to find humor in daily stresses and that's what Libby does in Plan C. This book is for women who have been-there-done-that and are ready to throw caution to the wind. Mature audiences only. For women who are up for a laugh, just plain tired, and just get it. Or in other words...want to escape and have some fun!

Good for book discussions for Mother's especially

Makes you really take stock of what is important in life, for you. Really important for mothers, to give themselves permision to do what they should do to make themselves Happy. The main charetor had raised her daughters with love and caring. Giving all she could to give them a great childhood. It was truly time for her to let go and let them make their own choices. To spend some time alone by herself to choose what was important for her for the rest of her life. To choose what would make her happy, which in turn would make those that loved her happy. May we all learn this, especially mother's that give all they can for their children, we must make ourselves happy too. Our loved ones want us to be happy! dkb2

This book was just a light humorous look at the life of many mature females. Sometime if you don't smile at life you'll pull your hair out. Don't take what happens always so seriously. This is a book you can pick up, read it quickly and don't have to over analys it. Enjoy!

    It was ok.

There was alot of jumping around and unnecessary bad language that wasn't relevant to the story. It drug at times and I had a difficult time making it through the book. Probably wouldn't read anything else from this author. However, if you want a book that you don't have to think too much on, it would be ok.

    I Really EnjoyedReading This Book!

And I'm an early 50's (age-wise) guy!!! Thought I had the ending figured out, but it did take a small 'twist' at the end• As I said in my ' title' , I really did enjoy this book - it was light-hearted and not really "heavy"• Look forward to reading MORE of Lois Cahall! I would reccomend it to just about anyone-especially if you are at least in your mid-20s* Five stars!

Gah! I can't believe this is getting good reviews. It was trite, boring and, if I had to guess, loosely based on the characters from Sex and the City - with all of their depth and wisdom.

"He's not very open. I feel like we should try someone thats not so much of a challenge. I've been here three days and not once since we've talked has he tried to even flirt. Most guys get interested after day two when I flirt with them. Its so complicated!"
