Meet the Author

A decorated cake gave Paris Cutler her first real career break when she presented the senior partner at her brokerage firm with a birthday cake in the shape of a Harley Davidson. Though the cake was crudely designed and poorly executed, the partner was overwhelmed by her originality and personal effort. For Paris it was an amazing life lesson and not long after, Paris found herself reading craft magazines instead of financial reports and fell into her dream job as owner of Planet Cake in Sydney, Australia. From its modest beginnings on a Sydney side street, the shop now operates in a much larger production kitchen where they have created many “celebrity” wedding cakes, including that of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Their celebrity cakes have given the shop worldwide fame.

    New ideas in rolled fondant

Very nice, informative book for the beginner or accomplished cake decorator. Innovative ideas, ice with ganache for a very smooth undercoating for the fondant.
