...but different isn't always a bad thing. A new sound is introduced in this album that is absent from previous ones. A softer and almost psychedelic melody is present in many of the songs, and the vision is mysterious. While sunshine and youth are connoted in their previous albums, there is an older, darker, surreal, and mystical vibe present among the songs. This is an album for the reflective rather than the reminiscing, better for a dinner party than a backyard rager. But no worries, there is still the Minus the Bear unique sound and originality coursing through the entire album. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
