I read this book because I thought that it sounds interesting a

I read this book because I thought that it sounds interesting and I like reading goosebumps books. When I first saw it I thought that
it was going to be stupid. Then I started to read it and I realized how interesting it was. At first I thought that it would be stupid and aa
little kids book and it was going to be about a guy that was  in love with a lawn gnome. then he noticed it wherever he went. So one night
he stole one out of his neighbor's yard and it started to talk to him. Then he tried to kill whatever it was but an entire army of lawn
gnomes came after him. But he escaped and he was always thinking that something was going to kill him. So he started to act strange
and putting no lawn gnomes allowed in this neighborhood posters up. But it just made the lawn gnomes mad and they came after
him and finally captured him. They enslaved him and one day they finally ate him.

I really liked this book because it was sort of a thriller and it sort of made me scared of the lawn gnomes in my neighborhood.
but it was sort of predictable like when he fell into the quicksand because his brakes didn't work all the time. So you can kinda predict
that he is going to fly into the quicksand. But I thought that when he played all of the pranks on his cross the street neighbor.  But when
his dog was lifted by a giant bird type thing. And when his dog was dropped I thought that it was going to die.

But the bad thing about that book is that a lot of the book is predictable. Like he falls into quicksand. And that there was something
wrong with the lawn gnomes. But when I found out that the lawn gnomes were alive i was scared about the lawn gnomes. Because
of the gnomes in my neighborhood. But when the gnomes came after him I thought that was cheesy. But I guess that it is a younger
kids book. And that I thought that it was pretty cool and exciting. So I think that it was dumb that when he was in the quicksand that he
was grabbed by the things I think that it was a perana of some sort.

But over all I thought that it was a really good book. If it was longer I think that it would have been better. Because in my opinion I think
that there was much more that they could have covered like a ton more. And I also thought that it was very cool that he did not get killed
by the lawn gnomes. But I also thought that it was crazy that his across the street neighbor kicked the boys dog in the stomach and
    made it through up.

But I thought that the pranks that he pulled on the mean old man was pretty awesome. But also the one when he first finds the
lawn gnomes for the first time. When he is trying to put the ladder against the open window and all of the trash in the mailbox but i think
that was a pretty good for a 10,11, or 12.  Also when his dad comes over and asks what's wrong. And that the mean old man said
‘’ he was trying to break into my house i was watching him the entire time.’’ I don't know why I like that line so much. But something
about it I love. maybe its because of my neighbors always getting mad at me.

I thought the book was better than I expected it to be. Because some of the goosebumps I have read was pretty stupid. But this one
I thought was one of the best. I think my feelings have changed a lot for this book. It is way better than “The Son Of Slappy” that was
another one of the most wanted books. I really thought that it stood out from all the other ones I have read. I am really impressed with
this book in fact I started to read it again. This is my first time reading a book a second time. But if i could I would probably not read the
last page of the book first.

The main characters is jay(the one experiencing all of this.) Mr.mccarthy(the old man that has a shrill voice.) And his dog( jays dog.) Jay
has some up and down time. Like when he pranks. Mr. mccarthy is a mean old man that jay plays tricks and pranks on. Mr.mccarthy
is also an old jerk and everyone hates him. Jay is the boy that lives across the street from Mr.mccarthy. Jay also is an epic prankster.
Jay also has all the bad stuff happen to him.

I liked this book because first I like the person that rights these books. Seconded I have a crush on goosebumps books. So yes I like no
I love this book. If you like thrillers than you should read this book. It is perfect for those people out there that love the spine chilling
thrills. If I was a book critic I would rate this book 4½ stars. The reason I would not give this book a five star is because they had so
much more they could have put in the book. But other than that that is one of the most exciting and thrilling books that i have ever read.
I love this book. Sorry if I keep repeating that I love this book. But all the love I have for this book is so unimaginable I don't know how
long I can keep my love for this book contained. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
