All you need to study for these low-yield topics

This volume of a great series covers all the anatomy and embryology topics/concepts that appeared on my step 1 exam (September 2003). 50 different cases in each book, with answers and explanations that are very well-written. Anatomy and embryology d not make up a large percentage of exam questions, but for those seeking to do well on the exam, this book is outstanding.

The ultimate review source for Step 1

Best way to review for step 1 in my opinion. Case-based questions dominate the exam format and this series prepares you for this format better than other sources I could find. Glad my peers recommended this valuable review source, as it covered all the important topics that appeared on my exam (of course, there were still a bunch of questions where I had no idea what they were talking about...). Scored much higher than expected on step 1, largely due to this series. Bring on step 2!

    Very high yield

These topics are not heavily covered on the boards, but this book covers all the high-yield info you need to know about anatomy and embryology. Case-based review isn't for everyone, but it sure helped my score on the exam! Not a stand alone review source - if you're just trying to pass, this may be overkill. I'm hoping to go into ENT surgery, so I needed to do better than average. This series will help you get there if you're in the same boat as me.

    Yes!

Must have review for dry topics that I dreaded studying for my USMLE exam. Clinically relevant (as my exam seemed to be for the most part) and very high-yield, the 50 cases in this book will make sure you have the basic/important anatomy and embryo concepts down. Great figures/diagrams and photos to give you a better understanding of the concepts. Check this one out! Actually, the whole series is good...
