Overview

When Kennedy confronts her wealthy husband, Richard, with his hands up the skirt of a young business associate, she finds herself single and jobless. Forced to rent the guest house to make ends meet, Kennedy's real estate agent sends her Seth Clayton, a sexy screenwriter who insinuates himself into her life and, finally, her bed. Despite Seth’s resolve to keep his “hands off the broken chick,” neither can control the sizzling sparks that ignite between them. On the outside, exotic Kennedy is one hot sexy lady even hidden beneath unfashionable clothes. But, on the inside, Kennedy barely even remembers how to have great sex. Seth, who has his own issues with women, nonetheless volunteers to help Kennedy rediscover her inner goddess. Meanwhile, Richard’s past dalliances with some unsavory characters put the couple at risk. Danger lurks on the mansion grounds. But, with Seth in her corner, Kennedy finds not just sexual gratification but an emotional connection, as well.

What a rip off...The story just stopped in the middle, and Book 2 doesn't seem to be availabe(not that I would pay for it after a stunt like this one). I don't feel this is a good way to get readers. :(

If you feel you work is worthy of being published for purchase, offer the complete work with confidence. Do not stoop to trickery to get readers. If you are offering yor work for free, send the complete work and allow your story to be judged on its own. This con you have offered readers insults us, your work and yourself. If you have so little faith in you work, stop offering it. Hopefully, readers will send the message by not purchasing the ending of this story. We deserve better!

    Short cheated

This book was very good but i give it three stars only because it ended poorly. This book ends right when they have sex, so now you have to buy the next book to find out the ending. That sucks play House.

This book ends in the miidle of the story--nothing is tied up and it forces you to buy book 2. I clearly understand the business model that authors offer you the first book in the series for free (this one was free when I got it) to hook you in to their writing and the characters so that you will buy oher books in the series, but this is ridiculous. Nothing is resolved--its like someone tore out half the book. Don't bother unless you are committed to buy Book 2 as well.

    Misleading

I can see why people are angry, this is half a book at 101 pages for free but once ur hooked looking for the rest of the story you have to spend 5 dollars for only 89 more pages kinda nuts, good story but did not like way this was presented fooled me once but not twice will stay clear of author, a shame cuz not bad writing.

    Not complete

This is a good book. Around 100 pgs but it just ends. And to complete the scene you have to buy the next book.

I don't normally read romance novels. But this just sounded really good. And it is. The author is not only erotic but a very good story teller. There's even a bit of suspense in there. The characters are so engaging. I wish this would become a series!

This is a very hot read. I love the characters and the story. One of the hottest erotic romances I've ever read! Not sure why the one reviewer who is so complimentary gave the book a two-star rating?

It was a good book but too much of a teaser.

I wished there would have been less lose ends in the story. The book was good but it did not close nicely. There are way too many plots that do not get resolved unless you buy the next book.
