Professional gambler Sloane Keller is tired of dating weak willed men and longs to meet a man who challenges her dominant personality and forces her to submit. As the Queen of Cards, she's used to making her own rules and craves the excitement of Vegas. But her inner heart cries out for someone who can be her match, both inside the casino and in the bedroom.

As the new dealer in town, Roman Steele is burnt out on women looking for a quick penny and a man to follow. He craves a woman with fire in her soul and a keen intellect who can challenge him. When his brother recommends the exclusive agency, FANTA-C to give him one perfect night, Rome is amazed at the complicated woman who challenges both his body and soul. But when the evening is over, will she be gutsy enough to offer him forever?

Editorial Reviews

NY Times Bestselling Author - Pepper Winters
Jennifer Probst never fails to deliver sweet and sultry, heartfelt and deep. Her magical way with words bring the characters completely to life and I 'felt' rather than read her story.
USA Today Bestselling Author - Christine D Reiss
"Jennifer Probst builds believably kinky characters and puts them into a situation so hot and fraught with sexual tension I had to cross my legs. Rome is a Dominant God and Sloane is a feisty yet submissive match for him."

This was short. Only 81 pages pages, after taking out the excerpts from other books. 95% of the story is sex and I'm not a fan of violence in the bedroom. A few things that don't happen is a night of sex does not equate to love, so I didn't buy that. All casinos I've been in, or know people who work at, do not allow their dealers (or any employee) to gamble in the casino. What dialogue there is seemed stilted and unrealistic. Hard to know, as there's no chance to get to know the characters because of the sex. Overall, I'm not a fan, and probably won't pick up another of hers.

4 star It all starts with one business card for FANTA C. You get one night to fulfill your fantasies. They match you with someone who wants a similar fantasy. It’s all about mutual enjoyment. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading these books(s) also as they are part of this series: Catch Me (Steele Brothers #1) This is Sloane and Roman’s short story. Sloane seems to attract weak men. She hopes that this one night will not be more of the same. Roman needs a challenge. When he is paired with Sloane he knows she will give him a run for his money. She is in no way weak and she matches him perfectly in the bedroom. Can one night ever be enough? Or will he be able to challenge her past there very own night? Or in the end is she just playing him? I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I recommend this book.

Play Me by Jennifer Probst is the second book in her newly re-released serial, Steele Brothers. Meet Sloane Keller and Roman Steele... Sloane is a confident woman that finds most men intimidated by her skills. She is a professional gambler - and by that I mean she almost always wins. But in love, the men resent her success and are intimidated y her confidence. Roman is a dealer in Vegas. He left Atlantic City and his parents and other family to move to Vegas. His brother Rick is here dealing also (It's kinda their family business) and he needed a change. Most women he has dated have been out for the glitz and the money - no female has truly been able to challenge him. When Rick gives his one referral with the matchmakers to Roman to use Roman never expected to find Sloan. Being in the business he knows exactly who she is and he is intrigued that this may just be the woman for him. But with all her past failures in love will Sloan agree to go beyond their one night? Another perfectly paced story - hot , sexy and sweet.

This short (60 pages) very steamy read is the second of the Steele brother's series and features Roman, a professional card dealer and Sloane, a poker stars champion. She's wealthy and views men warily as a result, sure they are out to use her, either as a prop on their arm, or for her money. But Roman is different - and after their one night together on their date set up by Fanta-C, she realizes that maybe this time, she's found the man for her. I really liked the two of them together, both strong personalities. Sloane is used to being in control all the time, but she secretly longs for someone to give her a break from all that, and Roman is definitely up to the task. He's a Dominant man, and in the bedroom, Sloane might fight him at first, but she's just as happy giving in to him as he is in giving her pleasure. Lots of hot scenes in this one as they find they are quite compatible in the bedroom. But more than that, Roman is just as fascinated and interested in her outside of it too, and shows her that he respects her at the card table and otherwise. They make a great match, and it was an entertaining read. 4 stars.
