Overview

Done with being the world's biggest pushover, Haley decides that things are going to start changing. The first thing that she was going to do was to put a stop to all the crap that her aggravating neighbor put her through. What she hadn't expected was to be sucked into his world, but Haley has a game plan and she won't let herself forget what the bad boy next door is capable of.

The last thing that Jason expected was for his shy little neighbor to go Rambo on him over some ruined flowers, but he quickly got over it once he realized exactly what he'd been missing. After he decides to take her under his wing, he can't help but notice how nicely she fits in his life. Now the only thing left to do was to convince her that this is anything but a game.

I laughed so many times while reading this book. I read the book in one day because I couldn't put it down. I am going to read more from the author. Only thing that needs to change is the cover.

This is one of the funniest books I have read in a long time. I love the character development and how their relationship just took off. Once I started reading I could not stop, and it was beyond hilarious. Look forward to reading other books by this author!!!!!!!!!

Everytime I saw a typo or bad writing, I had to remind myself it was only .99. The beginning was pretty cute, then the story dragged on and on. Overall it was pretty ridiculous, good steamy parts. Worth the .99 but I would not pay anything more than that!

I agree with some reviews that Jason's love for food is really weird, the guys' conversations are not realistic, and there are A LOT of cheesy everything..but WHO CARES! I loved it! I couldn't put it down..it was fun, funny, sexy, and heartwarming! I look forward to reading more of this author's books!

This was a huge disappointment and I barely got through it. Perhaps this is for rebellious young people with an "I don't care what people think" attitude, but I found the book horribly immature. I read to entertain and ENLIGHTEN. I found it remotely entertaining by way of the obvious errors (IMHO), which I point out below, but it's not like other books that have taken me to new places, taught me about a new experience, or uplifted my day in some wholesome or courageous way. It was mind numbingly shallow. If I had the choice, I would not have spent the $.99 on it to begin with. Why? Because... The relationship moved to quickly. After five years of intense dislike for her neighbor, I find it hard to believe Hayley spends a few hours trapped in the same house with Jason and "poof"... they're friends. The food thing wasn't realistic at all and was a sad sub-plot. I can cope with a weak plot or a few reality stretches if the characters are strong and the writing is good, but this book was horribly amateur. There were grammatical errors, missing words, and the repeated use of certain phrases and gestures became a distraction (eye rolling, "grasshopper" and "cute" to name a few). Why limit oneself in writing to the same descriptive adjectives? On this same line of thought, the overuse of foul language and the "F" word really ruined it for me (Note that I said OVERUSE, not use). Again, it was too much. Swearing in anger I can understand, but swear words as daily vocabulary shows ignorance (again, IMHO) It made me dislike Jason almost instantly. He came off abrasive, selfish and shallow. What really sealed it was his repeated curses at his friends and ESPECIALLY his father. If the author was going for arrogant, disrespectful jerk, kudos, but he wasn't a likable jerk. The love scenes lacked any real emotion and were mechanical in nature. Fixing even half of these problems would make for a better read. I won't be buying more books by this author without first reading a sample to check for the fundamental building blocks of writing.

## This book COULD'VE been so good, if only the hero wasn't a presumptuous, arrogant, moronic, pig. Yes, there were funny moments that were terrific and those were the only reason I gave this book 2 stars. However, the hero ruined the entire story for me. SPOILER ALERT: The way he acted as if taking someone's virginity was no big deal was despicable. And the way he left the heroine and the things he said to her were unforgivable. I understand that there has to be conflict in every novel, but the way the heroine had to grovel was pathetic. Don't bother with this one.

I love this book but you got to change the cover because if my mom saw it she would burn my nook(and maybe me)

Great story and funny too. However, aren't books supposed to be proofread before being published? Too many typos and grammatical and spelling errors. For a few pages, they were even spelling Haley'a name wrong. Really?

This was the first R L Mathewson book that I read and I enjoyed it so much I have since read several others. It is a very sweet romance that is also hilarious. I love how she transforms her leading men from staunch bachelors to devoted lovers. I encourage you to give them a try. I can't wait for the next book to come out. In the meantime I think I'll read them all again.

This my far was one of my very favorite read, I was laughing out loud to myself!!!! I loved Haley & Jason from the beginning. His obsession with food was the thing that keep the book together, in a good way and that his father and uncles all harbored that same obsession. Would love to know the story of how they got banned from all the fast food resturants and buffets, LOL!!!!
