In this second novel in the "Wildwood Stables" series, Taylor is faced with a couple of difficult challenges. The biggest hurdle is training her horse Prince Albert as a school horse so that she can afford his board at Wildwood Stables. Mrs. LeFleur inherited the rundown stables and will not be able to maintain the property without income from riding students. Taylor's family cannot afford the boarding fees at the more upscale stables. Training Prince Albert to allow others to ride him is difficult, but Taylor has the help of more experienced riders, Daphne and Mercedes. The second hurdle is to save Prince Albert from the clutches of Plum, a spoiled, rich girl who has decided she must have Prince Albert. Plum always gets what she wants, and she is known to mistreat horses. Young horse lovers will enjoy reading about Taylor and her friends as they work to make Wildwood Stables a success.
