Overview

If two’s company and three’s a crowd, then four is bound to be…deadly.

Special Agent Reese Bailey has a new assignment…one not under the jurisdiction of the federal bureau. She’s been hired to identify the person trying to kill the members of one of the hottest rock bands hitting the charts, and three of the hottest men she’s ever laid eyes on. Keeping her distance would be hard if she wasn’t certain they’d come to the same conclusion as all her past encounters…she’s just too different to make the cut.

Mace, Nash and Landon aren’t sure what to think of the incredibly smart federal agent who walks into their life, and into their hearts, they only know she’s the one they’ve been waiting for. It’s clear she’s a professional, not to mention a child protégé who can read their body language while figuring projectile paths in her head. And she’s not one to mix duty with pleasure.

But they aren’t taking no for an answer, not when their souls are on the line. Reese proves to be everything they've ever imagined and more. But the stakes are higher than any of them realize and if she can’t track down the stalker in time, the boys won’t be the only ones playing for keeps.

Meet the Author

Kris sees herself as somewhat obsessive and feels she tends to push the limits sometimes. But her friends graciously see her as passionate and adventurous. After all, speed limits are only guidelines and shouting is just her way of rising above the chaos. Besides, she thinks the air is cleaner out there on the edge.

Kris started writing erotic stories a few years ago, but didn't try putting them out into the real world until recently. She loves penning independent leading ladies who aren't afraid to kick a bit of butt, especially when it only fuels the desires of their men. But of course, it wouldn't be any fun if the men didn't get to play... Most of her stories involve elements of suspense and quite often have a down right creepy villain lurking in the shadows. But all the better to get the hero's protective instincts going. After all, Kris still loves having a knight ride to the rescue...

Story is interesting, but grammatical errors are very annoying.

For instance, the use of 'protege' instead of 'prodigy' to refer to someone of very high intellect or very gifted. I believe the talent for storytelling is there if you would pay a little more attention to the meanings of words, not just similar pronunciations. Spellcheck is good, but you have to have the grammar and context settings checked as well to avoid the use of same or similar-sounding words that do not fit into yourmeaning. Please keep writing stories as I'm sure you will be even better as your experience grows and I look forward to following your progress.

    Good

This was an ok story. It needs editing. There are errors made in the writing. I thought it started out a little slow and then caught my interest. I did like the ending.
