Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - James Chrispell
Carly wanted to show a more sensual side to herself, and the cover and music do just that. With the track "Are You Ticklish" showing off a playful sensuality, "Look Me In the Eyes" is downright sexual in its turn of words. She dances about with "Attitude Dancing" and pokes fun at hubby James' roots in "Playing Possum." All in all, a highly recommended performance from a maturing artist of merit.

    Carly at her best

I actually have been looking for this Cd for awhile.Besides the fact that it brings back alot of favorite memories,I always thought that ''Waterfall'',with hubby James singing backgrounds, was a very powerful song, and an example of the versatility that Ms Simon has in both her voice, and lyrics. This album, was produced crisp and clear, and this will always be considered a classic by me.

    ONE OF HER BEST!!!!!!!!

Ever since I bought this album on CD in 1992 when I was 11, it is still one of my favorite discs by Carly. At 11, I wasn't really ''aware'' of the sensual nature of these songs, only that the music was beautiful! Although more aware now, the music is still as emotionally touching as it is sensual. ''After the Storm,'' ''Look me in the Eyes,'' ''Attitude Dancing,'' and ''Are you Ticklish?'' are my favorites from this 1975 release. This review posted here might seem a little late in the game, but I'm sure Carly has plenty of time to read the words of another very adoring fan!
