    Awesome value.

A wonderful beginner kit to get people (mainly kids) into playing music. And for the price, you can NOT beat it!

    Essential for a beginner

Coming from a person who had never picked up a harmonica before, this kit was perfect and got me started on the right track. The hardcover little book it comes with is amazing. There are great photos and one-page profiles of different harmonica greats like Neil Young and Stevie Wonder. The book also contains 21 well-known simple tunes like Mary Had a Little Lamb and Oh, Susanna just to get you started and actually teaches you how to play the harmonica. The best thing is, it comes with a harmonica! The harmonica is not cheap plastic, but nice and sturdy at just the right size and feels good in your hands. It sounds good too! If you're looking forward to playing the harmonica for life, keep in mind you'll go through a few harmonicas. But this one is perfect to start with!

    Simple and easy to learn

I've tried to learn to play the harmonica before, but other books were too complicated. This book is very easy to follow. The blown notes and drawn notes are clearly marked. I was playing simple songs on the very same day that I bought the book.
